Have a question about renting a storage unit? This FAQ from Miles of Storage covers the basics, unit sizes, pricing,
access, security, payments, and what you cannot store, so you can choose the right storage option and move in with confidence.
Self-storage is a rented space where you store personal or business items and access them yourself. Miles of Storage provides
convenient storage options for extra space during moves, renovations, seasonal storage, business inventory, and more.
Choose a unit size, complete your rental, then move your items in on your schedule. After move-in, you can return during access
hours to add or remove items. Many Miles of Storage locations offer secure gated entry and a personal access code for convenient access.
Choosing the right size is easy with our size guide. A 5×5 unit is similar to a large closet and works well for boxes,
seasonal items, or small furniture. A 10×10 unit typically fits the contents of a one-bedroom apartment, while a 10×20 unit
is great for a two to three-bedroom home. Sizes vary by location, so check your facility for current options.
Unit sizes vary by facility, but you will typically find options ranging from small units for boxes and totes to larger units for
furniture, business inventory, or full room contents. For current availability and unit sizes near you, check your preferred location.
Miles of Storage offers transparent, competitive pricing across our locations. Rates vary based on unit size and current
availability. For the most accurate pricing, view the available units at your preferred location.
